Our mission is to wield the unifying power of music to help ordinary people with extraordinary needs.
Early on, we wanted to gather some female artists to rock for a cause. The vision was to draw on the energy and unifying power of music to bring women together and create an opportunity for the ladies to have a forum where they could use their voices to help others doing what they love. There was no recipient at the time, no cause, brand or mission yet, but the spark was kindled. We launched the first LWR4AC event in 2015. It inspired a quest to continue to help those in need with the inspiring power of music. Our goal is to be able to continue holding our annual events and to continue to grow our organization to help others all year long.
THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER MUSIC FESTIVAL. This is about perserverance. This is about giving each other strength. This is about sharing our stories and rising above them. This is about a community with the strength to lift each other up for every artist trying to make extraordinary things happen against insurmountable odds. Unified by music, we are beating the odds together.
